It was a fortunate  experience to have the generosity of Rev. Fr. Stephen Jayaraj OFM Cap, a plot of 80 cents of land lying close to the Pariyaram medical college could be purchased. Recognising the necessity of a Ladies Hostel for the students in the Medical College, the construction of a hostel cum convent began on 2^nd October 2007. It is apt to mention specially  the Vicar Rev. Fr. Shinto Alappatt for his wholehearted co-operation and guidance during the initial stages.
