Since1980, F.C.C sisters has been rendering their service at Udayapuram, which was a station of Kanjiradukkam parish. The exposure programme in the formation period took its origin at Udayapuram in 1996. When it was raised  as an independent parish, Rev. Fr. Mathew Athikkalathil, one of the parishioners of Udayapuram, consented to contribute 25cents of land for the construction of the convent and parishioners expressed their ardent desire to start an F.C.C. convent  in their parish.
